
Dr Hardeep Singh Mudhar
Hardeep is a consultant histopathologist at the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust specialising in cancer diagnosis. Born and bred in Derby, he is an avid birdwatcher and has a keen interest in amateur astronomy.
With a love for tree planting, he also is a 2nd Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate and loves breaking bits of wood in half.

Amandeep Kaur Maan
After studying International Business, Amandeep’s Sikh faith and affection for nature’s beauty lead her to a career in Environmental Management & Auditing. Currently on an extended career break, she is utilising her experience to create policies, strategies and behaviour change campaigns to support Eco-Sikh UK.
She enjoys learning more about Ayurveda, as well as indigenous cultures and ancient civilisations.

Rick Panesar
Rick has over 15 years’ experience in journalism and communications. He is passionate about using communications for positive social impact, with specialisms in stakeholder engagement and media relations.
He has developed award winning campaigns across a broad portfolio of clients spanning the media, the arts, politics, lifestyle-brands, technology and hospitality sectors.
Upbeat and highly motivated, he is also an active volunteer, and has a passion for flamenco music and culture. He’s also an enthusiastic food blogger writing posts based around the concept of ‘Soul Food’.

Prubhjyot Singh
Prubhjyot studied Avionics Technology and currently works in the aerospace industry. He started volunteering with Eco-SikhUK in March 2019 after meeting Ravneet Singh, EcoSikh Project Manager.
In accordance with Sikh principles, he is a firm believer in ‘sarbat da bhala’ or ‘may all prosper’. He urges everyone to take responsibility to look after their surroundings, to help make the world a better place for all to live in harmony.
Through his affiliation as a student with the University Air Squadron, Prubhjyot is keen to take to the skies again and would love to one day complete his Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL).

Jas Singh Benning
After graduating in Civil Engineering at the University of East London, Jas went on to become the director at Benning Construction and Givehand. He is also a long-term member of The Chartered Institute of Building.
Having project managed the prestigious property maintenance contract for the Crown Estate on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, Jas’s work focuses on sustainability in construction and retrofitting existing homes to improve energy efficiency, to help towards leading a zero carbon lifestyle.
Jas supports several charities and fund raising events, including Sikhs in the City, Anti-bullying campaigns in Redbridge Schools and Trees for Cities.

Davina Sohal
Davina is currently a student studying Economics at a University of London.
As an advocate for equality she is involved with many NGOs to tackle injustice.
She joined Eco-Sikh in November 2021 after volunteering at COP26. In her spare time, Davina enjoys campaigning, learning about the rich history of the global south and nature walks.

Harjot Kambo
With a background in Biomedical Engineering, studying at European and Asian universities, Harjot currently works on global qPCR and mass Covid-19 testing within the life science industry.
He joined EcoSikhUK in November 2021 after volunteering at COP26 Glasgow and meeting Dr Hardeep Singh at a Scottish Interfaith event.
‘Miri Piri’ represents Harjot’s motivation to primarily have deep awareness of oneself & environment, and then to implement change in the temporal world.
Harjot is a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate, enjoys learning about human civilisations and connecting with nature through wandering the Scottish hills.
